1. Agreement
By using After, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you create or manage an event for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it.
2. Accounts and invitations
Provide accurate information, protect your device and private invitation codes, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account or guest profile to the extent permitted by law. Do not sell, transfer or publicly distribute private event access.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, comments and other content you contribute. You grant After a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the event service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal records and content retained for safety reasons.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to capture and share people, locations and property shown in your content.
4. Event rules
Organizers control invite access, contribution limits, reveal time and event settings. Do not bypass or attempt to bypass a reveal; impersonate others; harass participants; upload unlawful, abusive, infringing or sexually exploitative content; collect content without required consent; disrupt the service; probe private data; or use After for unauthorized commercial surveillance.
5. Moderation and safety
Participants can report content or users. Organizers and After may restrict, hide, remove or preserve content and suspend access when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or enforcement of these Terms. We may investigate abuse reports but do not promise to monitor every event or contribution.
6. Service availability
After is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Uploads, notifications and reveal timing can be affected by device, network or provider conditions. Keep original copies of important media. We may change or discontinue features, but will aim to avoid materially disrupting active events without notice where practical.
7. Responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, DMR Labs Ltd is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for content and conduct controlled by users or organizers. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Ending use
You may stop using After, leave events and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security threats or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, safety records, disclaimers and liability limits—continue after termination.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. The effective date above will change, and material updates may be presented in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
